The StarSaver™ lesson plan was established with the Department of Basic Education, within the EMS learning area of the school curriculum. We want to help children become financially literate.
Launched in 2008, StarSaver™, previously known as Teach Children To Save South Africa™ (TCTSSA™), was established as an answer to the call by National Treasury to advance financial wellness and capability of children.
Starsaver™ has become well recognised worldwide, as one of the developing best practices in financial literacy and in allowing partnerships in the otherwise competitive financial education space.
